A birth doula works with parents to help them achieve the birth they want and deserve by providing continuous physical, emotional and informational support.  

 





What is included?
Krista provides support to birthing parents through physical,
informational and emotional methods.   Prior to your birthing day,
I will come to your home for a prenatal visit where we will discuss
your birth plans, practice some positions for labor and get to know
each other.  When you are in labor, I typically come labor at home
with you before heading to the hospital (if applicable).  I will stay 
throughout the entire labor and provide constant support
through a variety of tecniques.  After baby is born (yay!), I come visit the 
family at home to check-in, recap your birth and help answer (or refer
out) any postpartum questions.
 
Availability
If your estimated due month is green, I am available.  If it is not green, please reach out and I can connect you with other birth doulas in the area.  Please note, Krista  always works with a back-up doula in the [unlikely] event she is unable to attend a birth. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Rates
Your birth doula is on call 24/7 from week 38 until your baby arrives.  Text and phone support is available prior to your birthing day, as well.  All packages include at least one prenatal and one postpartum visit lasting 1.5 hours each.  

Payment plans are available.  A deposit and signed contract is required to hold your date.

Our most popular package is Swaddled, which includes Lamaze childbirth classes taught by Krista.  Birth classes are in a group format for 3 weeks, 2.5 hours per class.  If you prefer a virtual class, you may upgrade to an Evidence Based Birth Childbirth class for an additional $50 (cost of materials and online access).
